Important Dates

Call for Abstract April 1, 2018
Abstract Deadline September 30, 2018 (extended)

Submission

Abstract submission period has ended. Abstract response will be made in early November.

Digitally submit your 300 words abstract through the following link.
Only one submission is allowed as a presenting author. You may submit multiple submissions as the secondary author.

Full paper submission

Authors of accepted abstracts are required to submit either one of the followings:

1. Full paper
Full paper in a minimum of 6000 words but not exceeding 8000 words, strictly following the provided format.
All papers accepted by the Scientific Committee through double blind peer-review and presented at the conference in oral or poster format will be published in collaboration with IOP Publishing as open access papers in electronic proceedings within IOP Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science (EES, http://conferenceseries.iop.org) and submitted for indexing by ISI (Web of Science) and Scopus.
2. Extended abstract paper

If you do not wish your paper to be published, or indexed via a reason for submission to other journals, SBE19Tokyo has allocated a short, “extended abstract paper” submission option, where you may prepare your paper under 4000 words. Such papers will be included in conference proceeding PDF sets and be presented at the conference without the registration process to IOP Publishing, hence no online publication, and no indexing. Please note that the registration fee will be the same as the full paper submission.

Both papers should go through double blind peer-review and you are required to submit your paper twice:
1st submission: paper with no author information in MS Word file
2nd submission: paper with author information in PDF file after the notification of the review result

Important Dates (for both full paper and extended abstract paper)

1st Submission Deadline 31 January 2019
Notification of Review Result End of March, 2019
2nd Submission Deadline 15 April, 2019
